How can I tell if mom and dad are ok?

So many adult children find out too late! A suprise visit, utilities turned off, the neighbors call, etc. only to then discover that mom and dad aren't doing well, and haven't been doing well for a long time. There are tell-tale signs that we can look out for to make sure that mom and dad are safe. This video showcases those signs and if caught early, there is a high likelihood that they can like a full, happy, healthy and safe like at home; which is where everyone wants them to be. Download more information below if this can help!

How To Start Care

Starting care is as simple as 1, 2, 3. and are all at your pace. Although we would LOVE to have all of the meetings in person, we realize that not every family lives locally. For that reason, we have the ability to setup care remotely. Care can typically be started within a few days or sooner if it is an emergency. We'll do everything in our power to accomodate your schedule and needs.

1. Client Assessment

The assessment is a series of questions that help us to better understand what your specific needs are and how we can support you. We ask about medical history, medications, daily routines, services needed, schedules, and most importantly your expectations. An assessment usually takes about 1 hr. and can be performed in person, over the phone or by your completing a form online.

2. Service Agreement

The Client Service Agreement is the paperwork that authorizes care and provides the terms of service. Some people call this the contract, but not to worry! You're not tied into a long contract with no way out. If you're needing us for a defined period of time, no problem! If there is an ongoing care need, we simply ask for a 2 week notice to terminate service. Pretty standard!

3. Select Your Caregiver

Selecting your caregiver is the fun part! There are soo many factors that we use to match you and your family with a caregiver: behavior, personality, skillset, future projected care needs, location, schedule, preferences, allergies, and that all important 'X Factor'! That's the gut feeling about who would be 'the fit' for your family. We have care for our own family, so know how important this is!
